Accessibility statement
We, Steinbach International GmbH, strive to make our website https://www.steinbach-group.com/de/ accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act, as amended, implementing the European Accessibility Directive (Directive 2019/882) on the accessibility requirements for products and services.
In doing so, we have complied with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 as far as possible.
You can find more detailed information on the conclusion of contracts in our General Terms and Conditions (GTC).
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
a) Incompatibility with accessibility regulations
- Low color contrast: Some texts have a contrast ratio below the recommended minimum of 4.5:1. This makes them difficult to read for people with visual impairments.
- Missing alternative text: Several linked images do not contain alternative text (alt attributes), which means that screen reader users do not receive important information.
- Empty buttons and links: Some buttons and links are implemented without visible text or screen reader-readable labels, making them difficult to use with assistive technologies.
- Insufficient labeling of controls: Some interactive elements (e.g., buttons or links) do not have clearly recognizable names, which makes navigation difficult.
- Unstructured heading hierarchy: Headings do not always follow the logical order (H1 to H6), which can impair orientation for screen reader users.
- Missing semantics in lists: Some lists contain HTML elements that do not meet semantic requirements, making them difficult to read with screen readers.
- Non-standard tab order: Some elements use a tabindex value greater than 0, which can lead to an unnatural navigation order.
- Insufficient size and spacing of touch targets: Certain interactive elements are too small or too close together, making them difficult to use on touch devices.
b) Disproportionate burden
For economic and organizational reasons, it is currently not possible to completely remove all existing barriers immediately. Implementation requires some far-reaching technical adjustments, which would currently involve disproportionate effort.
However, the listed incompatibilities with the accessibility regulations are continuously analyzed and will be gradually remedied in future updates..
