Filter Wool Flakes
Filter wool flakes are a premium filter medium designed for efficient and environmentally friendly pool water cleaning. Thanks to their fine structure, they reliably remove even the smallest dirt particles and ensure excellent water quality. Compared to traditional filter media, filter wool flakes offer particularly high filtration performance. With a filtration fineness of up to 1 μm, they remove even the finest impurities from the water and help maintain consistently clear pool water. At the same time, the material impresses with high dirt absorption and efficient use at a low weight. Filter wool flakes are used in sand filter systems and represent a modern alternative to filter sand. Made from natural materials and free from plastics, they provide a sustainable solution for pool filtration.
Maintenance is important: Filter wool flakes must not be backwashed. Instead, they should be rinsed regularly and, depending on usage, cleaned or replaced approximately once per season or every 3 to 6 months to maintain optimal filtration performance. The use of flocculants is not recommended, as they may clog the filter structure.
