Hoses

At Steinbach you will find a wide range of lengths of all commercially available ribbed swimming pool hoses with a diameter of 32 mm or 38 mm for installation and attachment parts. The respective ends of the hose are either sleeved or with internal thread. Auxiliary materials for connecting hoses such as hose nozzles, hose clamps, adapters for INTEX pools, T-piece nozzles, gate valves as well as 3-way valves and much more can be found in our product range. Hose connections for all commercially available ribbed swimming pool hoses usually have a diameter of 38 mm. 32 mm connections as well as hoses can be found mainly in your products from INTEX.

Pool hoses in aisle sizes

32 or 38 mm hoses are used for various purposes in your swimming pool for piping: you can connect your filter system, skimmer, vacuum cleaner as well as corner and edge brushes, pool heaters and much more to your pool with a suitable hose.

Make sure that the hose connection and the diameter of the hose are the same. This means: a 32 mm hose connection requires a 32 mm hose, a 38 mm hose connection requires a 38 mm hose. With special adapters you can also use a 32 mm hose from INTEX with a 38 mm diameter connection.

The swimming pool hoses offered by Steinbach as well as all accessories can be used for swimming pools with chlorine as well as with salt for water disinfection.

What to do in case of leaks

The cause of damage and thus leaks can be manifold: For example, the connection to the hose may have become permeable or bathers may unintentionally introduce small, pointed objects into the pool, causing cracks or similar in the hose.

If you notice that water is leaking, first make sure you have the correct hose size for your connections of any kind. This affects many areas of your pool: Connecting hoses are used in pool technology for sand and cartridge filter systems, pool heating and pool accessories such as vacuum cleaners, pool brushes and other cleaning equipment.

If there is a leak at the connection, you can use a Teflon tape to seal the screw connections again. If necessary, use hose clamps to tighten the connections. If the hose is torn, it is advisable to replace it with a new one to avoid water damage and energy loss.
