A useful guideline when planning the water depth: The effective water depth is generally the pool height minus approximately 10 cm. For example, with a pool height of 120 cm, the actual water depth is around 110 cm.

The right location for your pool

When choosing the right location for your pool, it is important to ensure that the ground is level and that any uneven areas are corrected if necessary. It is also recommended not to place the pool directly under trees or shrubs, as falling leaves and needles can cause the water to become dirty more quickly. A sunny location helps to naturally warm the pool water. At the same time, the pool should be placed in a wind protected area whenever possible, as wind significantly increases water evaporation.

It is also important to plan enough space around the pool. The pool should be easily accessible from all sides and provide sufficient room for accessories such as a filter system, pool ladder or garden shower. Possible water leakage should also be considered when choosing the location in order to protect sensitive surfaces and surrounding areas.
