INTEX PureSpa - Limescale protection & water treatment
The inflatable PureSpa whirlpools from INTEX are available in round, square or octagonal shapes. All PureSpa models have an integrated limescale protection system that reduces deposits on the filter pump and heater. This keeps the heat output constant, makes cleaning easier and extends the service life of the whirlpool.
For all models without a salt water system, we recommend pH preparations, disinfectants and hardness stabilizers for water treatment, which provide additional protection against limescale.
Models with a salt water system have the advantage that chemical cleaning agents are virtually superfluous. The salt disinfects the water naturally - without any chlorine or other additives. Salt water is gentle on the skin, does not irritate the eyes or mucous membranes and is particularly pleasant to the touch. With a salt content of just 0.4 %, it is significantly milder than seawater (3.5 %).
Cartridge filter systems are suitable for optimum filtration of the pool water in our whirlpool models.
Perfect water temperature in the inflatable whirlpool bath
38 degrees is approximately the optimum water temperature for your whirlpool tub. Do not exceed 40 degrees. Please note that warm water can cause tiredness and dizziness. Do not immerse yourself completely in order to “keep a cool head”.
