If your Auto Pool Cleaner is not working properly or is moving only very slowly, this is usually not due to a defect, but rather to installation, connection, or operating conditions.

Please check the following points:

• Dirt such as hair or fibres can block the water outlet nozzle, wheels, or base plate and significantly reduce performance. Therefore, regularly clean the filter unit, debris flap, water outlet nozzle, and wheels.
• Make sure the cleaner is correctly assembled and that the connection at the inlet nozzle (pressure or suction side, depending on the model) is properly set.
• The Auto Pool Cleaner works based on the Venturi principle, where the water flow from the filter system generates suction. Sufficient pump power is essential for the device to operate efficiently. The external filter pump must meet the performance requirements of the device to ensure optimal operation.
• Ensure that the filter system is switched on and ideally set to “Circulate.” All shut-off valves must be fully open.
• Please also note that very uneven pool floors or strong wrinkles in the pool liner may restrict cleaning performance and movement speed. If necessary, remove the cleaning lips of the device to prevent it from getting stuck.

In addition:

• For Auto Pool Cleaners with a standard Ø 38 mm connection and an Intex pool with a Ø 32 mm connection, a special inlet fitting is required to allow proper connection of the cleaner (art. nr. 111070 Screen connection/through-piece)..
• For the Auto Pool Cleaner ZX50 (#128007), pools with a diameter from Ø 549 cm to Ø 610 cm require additional connection adapters (part no. 113139 and 113141).

Please also ensure when purchasing your Intex Auto Pool Cleaner that the performance of your external filter pump meets the requirements of the device. If the pump power is too low, both cleaning performance and movement capability may be reduced.
