Pool covers with integrated water holes offer a practical solution for allowing rainwater to drain away directly without having to pump it out first. The drainage holes are dimensioned in such a way that they drain away rainwater while retaining coarse dirt. This helps to reduce the amount of cleaning required and minimises the use of water care products. The small holes in the centre of the solar cover also have a safety-relevant function: they prevent the cover from being weighed down too heavily in the rain and sliding into the pool, similar to conventional pool covers.
