Frequently asked questions for Pool ladder:

The load capacity of stainless steel ladders is a maximum of 150 kilograms.

Please remove the ladder after each use. An incorrectly adjusted pH value or a too high chlorine value can cause rust to form in a very short time. If you operate your pool with salt water, you will need a zinc plate, which is used for equipotential bonding for ladders in connection with salt water systems. Salt water and salt water vapours can otherwise cause the material to rust.

The maximum load weight must not be exceeded.

Stainless steel pool ladders are rustproof, but not rust-resistant. When using pool ladders in a salt water pool, a zinc plate should always be used. The zinc plate serves as potential equalisation for stainless steel ladders in connection with salt water disinfection. It prevents rusting and helps prevent corrosion of your stainless steel ladder.

Mounting the zinc plate (art. no. 018259): Screw the zinc plate to the outside of your stainless steel ladder. The installation must be done on the inside of the pool and below the water level. Make sure that the zinc plate is renewed every season.

If the zinc plate has already attracted a lot of rust particles, we recommend replacing it. It is recommended to replace the zinc plate every season.

An incorrectly adjusted pH value or too high a chlorine value can cause the rusting in a very short time.

Stainless steel ladder for steel wall pools

A stainless steel access ladder is available for steel wall pools, above-ground pools and for in-ground pools with partial or complete ground installation at a pool height of 120 cm, 135 cm or 150 cm. The ladders impress with their solid design and non-slip steps. A flexible buffer joint is also included to protect the pool liner from damage.

Please note that ladders without removable steps, which thus prevent unintentional access to the swimming pool, are referred to as unsecured access equipment. Take into account that stainless steel pool ladders are, by definition, an unsecured access device.

In the case of above-ground pool ladders, ensure that they have a level standing surface to guarantee the stability of the ladder. They are set up and do not need to be screwed down. In contrast, built-in pool ladders are mounted on the pool. Installation pool ladders are available from Steinbach with 4 or 5 external steps as well as 2 steps that protrude into the pool water for easy access, even for higher pools. Depending on the model, the pop-up ladder has 4 external and 4 internal rungs or 5 external and internal steps.

A solid and heavy floor element with a non-slip surface can also be used as a fastening option and for the stability of the access ladder. The floor element is made of high-quality and durable WPC (=Wood Plastic Composite) material and can be simply placed on top - without drilling.

Stainless steel built-in pool ladders with 3 or 4 steps for swimming pools with partial or complete ground installation only have steps on the inside of the pool. The 4 step in-ground pool ladder with a tilt joint creates the possibility of placing the ladder horizontally. Attention:

Attention

In salt water systems, a zinc plate must be used for equipotential bonding to prevent corrosion on the stainless steel.
